Position Summary

New Flyer is North America's heavy-duty transit bus leader offering advanced products under the Xcelsior® and Xcelsior CHARGE® brands, and infrastructure solutions via NFI Infrastructure Solutions™. As the Regional Product Support Manager (Midwest), you will oversee customer service across the territory by devising and executing targeted support plans that ensure seamless vehicle acceptance, warranty reviews, and retrofits, while upholding company policies for customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure employee compliance with field service and customer processes.
  • Assist customers with bus deliveries by resolving defects and expediting parts.
  • Collaborate with CPM, Production, and Quality for coordination and feedback.
  • Lead a cross-functional service technician team from delivery through bus life.
  • Manage work queues in Oracle OSVC/OSFC for retrofits and warranty processing.
  • Engage with sales teams and regional directors to balance workload and process improvements.
  • Document interactions with customers through detailed contact reports.
  • Ensure regulatory, legal, quality, environmental, health & safety compliance.
  • Travel and commute within the Midwestern Region as required.

What You Need to Be Successful

Education in Engineering or Business is preferred along with a minimum of a 2-year Technical College background or equivalent experience. You will need at least 5 years’ experience in transit or a related industry, strong mechanical/electrical systems knowledge, customer service acumen, MS Office proficiency, self-motivation, exceptional organizational and program management skills, safety focus, and advanced communication skills.
