Role Overview: GCP Application Architect
This is a 12-month contract (with possible extension) for a remote position. The role focuses on performing comprehensive architecture reviews of legacy and current applications to determine their readiness for migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Review and assess legacy and modern applications.
- Determine migration readiness to native GCP services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, Google partners, and other stakeholders.
- Focus on re-platforming and modernization efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Google Compute Engine (GCE) and related GCP services.
- Proven application architecture review and cloud migration experience, especially with GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and virtualization.
- Able to work with legacy systems and incomplete documentation.
