Job Mission

New Balance is dedicated to operating a data-led organization and building an enterprise data product and platform organization to support business growth and data maturity. The Senior Data Product Manager role is pivotal in crafting data products, establishing team structure, and deploying products to market. The role involves strategic leadership, change management, and agile execution to enable data-driven decisions.

Major Accountabilities

  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of Data Product Owners.
  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive data product strategies aligning with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with analytics and other teams to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Product Development: Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
  • Data Integration & Monitoring: Oversee data integration and performance analysis to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Change Management: Drive smooth adoption of new data products and technologies.

Requirements for Success

Minimum of 10 years product management experience with 4+ years in a data product role in a global organization. A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, an understanding of agile methodologies, and technical familiarity with data management platforms, SQL, and data visualization tools.
