Job Overview

The Developer - Private Markets Research Technology role at Neuberger Berman involves enhancing Private Markets research applications to streamline workflows for Investment Teams. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders while working on critical research applications.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption and integration of the Everest platform for business teams.
  • Design and optimize SQL solutions for streamlined data flows and improved reporting.
  • Collaborate with investment teams and cross-functional partners to enhance decision-making.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data movement.
  • Ensure database management, security, and performance optimization.
  • Explore automation and workflow optimization using Python, .NET, and other tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on data solution development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or .NET.
  • Experience with ETL, data visualization (Tableau, Power BI), and Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $100,000-$140,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and life insurance.
