About The Role
The Engineering Productivity Team designs, builds and maintains the foundational systems that Netskope’s engineers use to develop industry-leading security products. As the Principal Engineer, Productivity Engineering, you will envision, plan and deliver solutions that accelerate software delivery.
What’s In It For You
We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to design, develop, implement and deploy tools, systems, workflows, processes and pipelines that accelerate engineering velocity, reduce manual effort, and improve output quality.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, develop, implement and deploy productivity tools and systems.
- Work closely with various teams to address workflow challenges.
- Guide service engineering teams on best software development practices.
- Leverage AI technologies to boost engineering productivity.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
- Work with AWS, JFrog Artifactory, Spinnaker, LaunchDarkly, Sonarqube, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bazel, Golang, and Python.
Required Skills And Experience
Minimum 8+ years in engineering with 3+ years in building developer infrastructure tooling. Must possess empathy for developer challenges, strong learning drive, and excellent communication skills.
Education
BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required; MS or equivalent is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary is one component of a competitive rewards package. The salary range for this role is $128,000—$260,500 USD, adjusted based on location, skills, and market conditions.
