About the Role

The Data QE team is responsible for data quality, data services, and data components across cloud and hybrid environments. In this role, you will lead initiatives within data engineering, testing product data efficacy, building CI/CD pipelines, and automating tools to detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead test documentation, automation, and deployment tooling for a microservice-based architecture.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases.
  • Design and implement test plans for backward compatibility, REST APIs, and integration testing.
  • Automate tests using Python, Java or equivalent languages to improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize test environments in Kubernetes-based ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, AI engineers, and DevOps.
  • Develop tests and automation for systems handling large datasets and near real time streaming.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in automation and building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with microservice architecture, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Strong background in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Github Actions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience in testing data pipelines, streaming architectures, and messaging systems.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BSc in Computer Science required; MSc preferred.
