About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer IV specializing in ERP Finance systems, particularly with expertise in Oracle and PL/SQL, to join our Spectrum team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical financial applications that underpin our business operations and revenue management. Your technical proficiency will ensure our financial systems are secure, reliable, and high-performing, directly contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of Spectrum’s financial processes. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive experience in software development and database management. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL, along with a proven track record of developing and optimizing ERP or financial systems software. Additional experience with modern development methodologies, cloud-native environments, and API integrations is preferred.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze complex financial system issues, and excellent communication skills in English are essential. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with software architecture, containers, and data stores relevant to ERP systems. Experience mentoring junior developers and presenting technical concepts effectively to teams and leadership is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ERP financial software using Oracle and PL/SQL, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Integrate financial applications seamlessly with other Spectrum platforms and external data sources to facilitate comprehensive financial reporting and analysis.
- Participate actively in Agile and Scrum methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to meet project objectives.
- Apply security standards and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies to safeguard sensitive financial data.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and integration issues within ERP applications, maintaining system integrity and performance.
- Lead code reviews, perform debugging, and conduct thorough testing of software modules to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Estimate effort, plan development tasks, and support the deployment of new features and enhancements in financial systems.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting continuous technical improvement.
