Qualifications
- Over 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on JVM-based languages such as Java, Groovy, or Kotlin.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with microservice architecture patterns.
- Proficiency in Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automation testing frameworks.
- Solid background in agile development methodologies, including Scrum, with 1-3 years of active participation.
- Scrum certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with additional technologies such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, Ratpack, and cloud platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to development challenges.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code that aligns with business objectives and technical standards.
- Translate product backlog items into well-designed, scalable features.
- Estimate effort for user stories, plan sprints, and contribute to backlog grooming sessions.
- Create and execute automated test scripts, perform unit testing, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Document technical specifications, design decisions, and deployment procedures accurately.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and product management to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into development workflows.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
