In the Ontada division, within the Genospace team, we are committed to becoming the leading information platform for applied precision medicine. Our interdisciplinary team merges genomics, healthcare, data analytics, web development, and cloud computing to serve research institutions, clinical development, pathology labs, and healthcare providers working with high-dimensional biomedical data. Many of the most advanced organizations in precision medicine are powered by Genospace technology.
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer who is passionate about solving complex problems and building innovative solutions to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining our Genospace software platform, which is used globally by clinicians and researchers to improve patient care through advanced data analysis and visualization. Your contributions will directly impact the future of personalized medicine, enabling better treatment options and advancing scientific research.

Qualifications
McKesson offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package that includes salary, benefits, and incentives. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, performance, and market conditions, with a pay range for this position of $87,600 to $146,000 annually. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may receive annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and various health and wellness benefits. Qualifications
- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.
- Proven experience in building web applications or data processing systems.
- Familiarity with web technologies and proficiency in at least one common programming language.
- Experience with front-end technologies, back-end development, and database management.
- Demonstrable ability to design software solutions that meet functional and technical requirements, with effective communication of designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically while collaborating with product owners, data scientists, and designers.
- A 4-year degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field, or equivalent experience.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy features for our web-based, cloud-hosted applications, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates to foster a collaborative development environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, data scientists, and designers, to develop innovative solutions that meet user needs.
- Help shape and improve our engineering processes, tools, and platform to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain and support existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our software development lifecycle.
