About The Role
GrabJobs is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team supporting a major federal modernization initiative. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native enterprise applications that are secure, scalable, and reliable. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, cloud architects, data engineers, DevSecOps professionals, and security teams, to deliver high-quality solutions within an Agile framework. This position is primarily remote, supporting federal projects based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, with occasional onsite meetings in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC as required. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing our cloud integration efforts and ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in building enterprise applications. A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field is required, or equivalent relevant experience. Proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, is essential. Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and microservices architecture is also necessary. Additionally, expertise in front-end development using Angular, along with familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployment, is highly desirable. Candidates must have a solid understanding of application security, identity federation, and federal compliance requirements. Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a cross-functional Agile team, and U.S. citizenship are mandatory for this federal project role.
Responsibilities

Participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives is essential. You will work closely with product owners and business analysts to clarify requirements and establish acceptance criteria. Engaging in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions will foster continuous improvement.
