About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to join our Virtual Assistance (VA) department. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the development and migration of a cloud-based web dashboard. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and exposing RESTful APIs using Java and NodeJS, integrating with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) pipelines, and supporting Angular front-end applications. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with AWS-based data engineers within an Agile environment to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, reflecting the sensitive nature of our projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in Java and NodeJS for backend API development.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience supporting Angular front-end applications.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
- Experience with EDI pipelines and integration techniques.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and maintaining a cloud-based web dashboard to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Designing, building, and exposing RESTful APIs in Java and NodeJS to support various application functionalities.
- Supporting and troubleshooting Angular front-end components to ensure seamless performance and usability.
- Collaborating with AWS data engineers to integrate backend services with cloud data pipelines.
- Migrating existing legacy systems to scalable, cloud-based solutions with minimal disruption.
- Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Participating in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement.
- Documenting technical specifications and providing support for deployment and maintenance activities.
