About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer specializing in Frontend Web Applications Development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise and departmental IT systems with a focus on web application front-end development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating user-centric interfaces, working collaboratively within teams, and independently managing project tasks. Your expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and web development tools will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, responsive, and secure web applications that meet stringent security and operational standards. This position requires a candidate with a Top Secret clearance and Fullscope Polygraph, reflecting the sensitive nature of our projects.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of eight years of professional experience in software development, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution. Alternatively, four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree. Candidates should have extensive experience with web development technologies, including proficiency in Angular, React, Vue.js, Bootstrap, and Node.js. Strong skills in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS are essential. Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio Code and experience working within a Linux environment are required. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills, adaptability to evolving project requirements, and familiarity with source code management tools like GitHub or GitLab. Experience working within an Agile development environment is highly preferred, ensuring the ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and work independently to develop, test, deploy, and maintain various web applications utilizing frameworks such as Angular or similar JavaScript technologies.
• Interact with RESTful API endpoints to perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations, and format received data into user interface components including tables, charts, graphs, and dialogs.
• Participate in program design, coding, debugging, testing, and comprehensive documentation to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Design and implement front-end layouts based on wireframes and mockups, ensuring responsiveness and usability across different devices and browsers.
• Maintain awareness of security best practices and ensure all applications adhere to organizational and industry standards for security and data privacy.
• Engage in continuous improvement processes, contributing to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and adopting new technologies to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
