Experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, or ICD codes is highly desirable. A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer / Data Scientist at Jobot, your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating new healthcare data sources to determine their quality, relevance, and potential for integration into existing systems.
  • Profiling data to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies, and developing strategies to address these issues.
  • Designing and implementing data transformation logic to convert raw data into structured, analyzable formats.
  • Partnering with engineering teams to develop scalable, reliable data ingestion pipelines that support real-time and batch processing.
  • Collaborating with analytics and business teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensuring data security, compliance, and privacy standards are maintained in all data handling processes.
  • Documenting data processes, pipelines, and transformations for transparency and future maintenance.
  • Continuously monitoring and optimizing data workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
