  • Effectively audit home-grown systems, with experiences in providing control assurance through code review. In most cases, this will include designing and executing procedures to audit 1st-party systems.
  • Partner with relevant engineering process owners and teams to stay up-to-date on changes and provide guidance on controls by performing SOX readiness procedures across a variety of 1st-party systems.

Collaborate with external auditors on an ongoing basis to ensure continued alignment and timely completion of agreed-upon milestones.
  • Leverage data analytics, GenAI, and automation in all phases of audit and advisory reviews.
  • Support internal initiatives (tools, training, methodology, and automation) to build and improve the Technology audit function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (is a plus) degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in technology audit. A combination of consulting (Big 4 or related) and industry internal audit experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional project management skills. Ability to work with a high-performing team, managing a variety of deliverables simultaneously to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), sound judgment in analyzing problems, with proficiency in assessing risk and evaluating internal controls. Proactive, self-starter, attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines while producing high-quality work products.
  • Open to receiving and providing constructive feedback, and focused on continuous improvement by incorporating feedback into measurable actions.
  • Strong grasp of basic technology concepts (infrastructure, applications, etc) and experience auditing 1st-party systems is required.
  • Proficient in using computer software (e.g., SQL, Tableau) and cloud ERP systems (e.g. Workday).
  • Familiarity with using audit systems (e.g. Auditboard) to manage end-to-end SOX programs.
  • Strong critical thinking mentality, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate discussions with management regarding audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Understanding of commonly used internal control frameworks including COBIT, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.
  • CISA, CIA, and Big 4 consulting experience is a plus.
