Overview

Netflix, a leading entertainment service with over 300 million paid members, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the TV Release Quality team. In this role, you will assess and communicate the quality of our TV streaming application, supporting both pre- and post-production phases.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer - TV Release Quality, you will join a team of experienced TV engineers to develop and enhance test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipeline stability, and release tooling. You will work on improving observability, alerting, and dashboarding systems critical for TV streaming quality. In addition, you will support the TVUI engineering community by solving complex quality challenges and driving innovations.

  • Develop and enhance testing tools and frameworks (Jest, Puppeteer, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality TV streaming experiences.
  • Support on-call processes and streamline release procedures.
  • Work in an environment that values autonomy, feedback, and continuous learning.
