Job Description
About Netflix and the Role
At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. We are building the future of storytelling, global fandom, and making the unimaginable a reality. The Content Consumer Insights team drives creative decision-making by providing rich insights into genres, content opportunities, audiences, and evolving content tastes. We aim to understand the underlying needs, motivations, and emotions that drive love for our TV shows and movies.
Screening work-in-progress shows and movies is a critical part of this mission, allowing us to infuse consumer input into the production process to make our content more appealing globally. Netflix Preview Club is a fast-growing exclusive screening program where members watch early versions of TV shows and movies. This deeply cross-functional effort requires a leader to drive its continued growth.
As a Screenings Researcher, Content Consumer Insights, you will design and execute research screenings for original films and TV shows. This role involves collaboration with Consumer Insights researchers, Operations teams, Post production, and more to ensure successful screenings. It is a hands-on position where you will analyze and synthesize consumer feedback to provide sharp, actionable insights to creative teams, primarily focused on screenings but with opportunities to follow titles throughout their lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate screenings end-to-end, including questionnaire and discussion guide design, logistical coordination, fielding, and reporting.
- Partner across functions, collaborating with screening operations, post-production, and CI researchers to ensure screenings meet strategic goals.
- Continuously improve screening craft by contributing to the evolution of our tooling, templates, and methodology.
- Analyze and synthesize audience feedback across titles, blending qualitative and quantitative signals into clear narratives and actionable implications.
- Support other research moments, contributing to additional phases of research throughout the title lifecycle.
About You
- You have hands-on experience conducting content research and screenings.
- You are proficient in designing research instruments (e.g., questionnaires, discussion guides) and possess a strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- You are an excellent analyst, capable of interpreting data, identifying patterns, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- You are a clear and effective communicator, both in writing and verbally, able to tailor your message for different audiences.
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are comfortable working cross-functionally and building strong relationships with stakeholders across different teams.
- You are proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- You are passionate about entertainment and eager to help shape stories reaching millions worldwide.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is determined by market indicators, job family, background, skills, and experience within a market range. The range for this role is $170,000.00 - $270,000.00.
Comprehensive benefits include Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
