The Opportunity

Fast-paced innovation in large language models (LLMs) and generative AI is reshaping personalization. The Model Evaluations and Data Curation team is central to driving Netflix's transformation in AI, by building benchmarks, evaluators, and data infrastructures that ensure our foundation models deliver personalized experiences.

Your Impact

• Partner with AI application teams to define evaluation benchmarks.
• Design and implement rigorous evaluation methodologies.
• Develop strong baselines and scalable data systems for model training.
• Hire and nurture a world-class team of ML researchers and engineers.
• Collaborate with ML and data engineering teams to integrate insights into model development.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in building and leading high-performing ML teams; proven track record in taking machine learning initiatives from research to production; strong technical expertise in LLMs and evaluation methods; ability to drive cross-functional projects and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years overall experience including 3+ years in engineering management; hands-on experience with large-scale ML systems and foundation models; familiarity with evaluator frameworks and data infrastructure design; experience with multi-modal data evaluations.
