Content Operations & Innovation at Netflix
The Content Operations & Innovation organization at Netflix is responsible for supporting content to thrill members through efficient operational workflows and execution, leveraging our scale and innovating to deliver enhanced value on screen. Within this vital organization, the Content Security team, a part of Content Risk Management, is seeking to host one intern during Summer 2026.
This team diligently works to protect Netflix’s content throughout its entire pitch-to-play lifecycle. This means engaging early to secure our creative output during the pre-production, production, and post-production phases, collaborating with both our internal teams and our third-party vendors across the creative ecosystem. We also maintain close partnerships with our production and events security teams within Content Risk Management.
Your Role as a Content Security Intern
As a Content Security Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting with departmental needs and will participate in a structured program that provides comprehensive training and development. This program is specifically designed to equip you with the skill set necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in Content Security. You will also gain extensive experience working closely with our Production, Talent, and Events Security teams, providing you with robust exposure to all the diverse ways Netflix secures its content, both physically and digitally.

"The Content Security team identifies and mitigates the security risk to our content across the pitch-to-play lifecycle. Who We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with authorization to work in the USA, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027.
- Strong interest in exploring content security, especially at the intersection of modern cybersecurity and film/television production.
- Open to residing in the Los Angeles area for the duration of the internship; if applicable, Netflix provides relocation and housing support to ensure this opportunity is accessible.
- A basic understanding of computers and familiarity with software applications such as Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel).

- Motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while taking initiative.

The Summer Internship Experience
The Summer Internship at Netflix offers a personalized experience, aiming to mimic what it is truly like to work here. We carefully match qualified interns with projects and groups based on their interests and skillsets, fully embedding them within those groups for the summer. Internships are paid and are a minimum of 12 weeks, with a choice of a couple of fixed start dates in June to accommodate various school calendars.
