The Opportunity
Netflix is seeking a Content Protection Manager - EMEA to support global IP enforcement initiatives and protect world-class content from piracy. The role focuses on managing anti-piracy initiatives through DMCA notices and other legal routes, leading localization of content protection strategy, and providing subject-matter expertise to cross-functional partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Global Content Protection to combat piracy locally and globally.
- Localize enforcement and litigation efforts via intelligence and operationalization.
- Assist with investigations including content leaks in collaboration with security teams.
- Present strategies and insights, translating piracy data into actionable guidance.
- Support improvements in the legal toolkit safeguarding Netflix content.
- Monitor and analyze piracy landscape data for internal decision‑making.
- Facilitate internal knowledge-sharing among policy, business, and legal teams.
- Take on additional projects as needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a global content protection program, preferably in media or entertainment.
- Knowledge of global piracy, copyright, and intermediary liability policy.
- Strong communication skills for clear stakeholder alignment.
- Proactive, independent work style under tight deadlines.
- Experience in developing actionable intelligence for enforcement strategies.
