About the Role

As an Analytics Engineer, you will work at the forefront of using analytics and data engineering skills on big data. You will collaborate with product, technology, and business teams to develop and maintain data pipelines, tools, and visualizations that deliver member insights across Netflix. This role supports the New Content Experiences team, expanding Netflix's content offering beyond traditional formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, tooling, and visualizations.
  • Identify, compute, and validate data sources and metrics.
  • Partner with data engineers to design integrated data architectures.
  • Work with product managers and engineering on real-time monitoring.
  • Explore trends in member engagement and surface future opportunities.
  • Coach partners on self-service data tools and scaled data solutions.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Highly fluent in SQL and proficient in Python.
  • Experience in engineering data pipelines and orchestrating workflows.
  • Familiarity with dbt and software engineering best practices.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive with minimal oversight.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers an annual salary range between $170K and $720K, with comprehensive benefits including health plans, 401(k) matching, stock options, disability programs, and flexible paid time off.
