Job Description
As an Application Support & Development Consultant within Netcompany's Application Services (APS) team, you thrive on client contact, rapid adaptation, and continuously improving existing systems. You will work directly with clients on IT solutions that are already live, meaning your work makes an immediate impact. Your responsibilities include developing the product by adding new functionalities, fixing bugs, and providing users with the best possible experience. Often, you will work for multiple clients simultaneously, allowing you to gain diverse experience with various organizations and challenges quickly. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to analyze and solve functional and technical issues for clients.
APS is all about smart improvement: optimizing and extending what already exists. Based on ITIL structures, you and a multidisciplinary team will continuously enhance client environments. This involves analysis, building, testing, and implementation. You will learn the full spectrum of software development and service management, from A to Z. You'll use whatever is necessary – from code to low-code, from .NET to Java, or anything in between – as long as it truly helps your client. The method is less important than the outcome: as long as it works for the client and is of high quality. If you are versatile, interested in different technologies, and believe that good communication is as vital as good code, you will feel right at home with us.
You will join a close-knit team with ample freedom to take responsibility. You will work according to ITIL and agile principles in an environment where customer satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement are paramount. You will learn to switch gears quickly, prioritize, and communicate effectively, as you will regularly interact with clients who rely on your solutions. This role is suitable for individuals seeking broad development, varied work, and the opportunity to make an impact.
Role Requirements
We are looking for colleagues with the following skills and competencies:
- A completed Master's degree or a relevant Bachelor's degree from a university or university of applied sciences, for example, in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is a plus, but not a strict requirement.
- Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment in solving complex problems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, preferably with .NET or Java, is a plus.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Become part of our inclusive community
At Netcompany, we are actively promoting an open and inclusive work culture, built on collaboration and trust, where there is always room for valuable discussions and support. We believe it's important that colleagues feel seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their background, identity, or life stage.
We offer an environment where you collaborate with colleagues from all over the world on various projects. Furthermore, we organize a wide range of social and professional events that offer you the best opportunities to expand your network.

- Depending on your work experience, a gross monthly salary between € 3,650 and € 4,050 based on a full-time employment.
- 26 vacation days based on a full-time employment.
