This is a remote role supporting partners and customers in Columbus, Ohio. Candidates outside of this region will be automatically disqualified.

Job Summary

The Senior Solutions Engineer will join the Enterprise organization, expanding coverage for some of NetApp's largest and most strategic customers across various industries including healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, and technology. In this role, you will partner with an Enterprise Client Executive to develop technical relationships and architect complex data solutions that drive multi-million-dollar business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor for strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Partner with Client Executives to define account strategy and drive deal progression.
  • Build relationships with senior architects and IT decision-makers.
  • Lead discovery sessions and architect end-to-end solutions using the NetApp portfolio.
  • Design and position integrated on-prem, hybrid, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Support multi-million-dollar sales cycles with consistent technical engagement.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and partner teams.
  • Continuously seek innovative methods to add value and drive account success.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned technical sales professional with a strong background in technical sales engineering, pre-sales, or solutions consulting. You excel at building relationships with technical stakeholders and enterprise IT leadership, managing long sales cycles, and driving technical momentum. High organization, self-motivation, and collaborative spirit are key traits for success in this role.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technical sales engineering or solutions consulting.
  • Proven success with Fortune 500 or global-scale enterprise customers.
  • Experience architecting multi-million-dollar deals with complex technical solutions.
  • Deep technical understanding of storage technologies and enterprise data infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, effectively translating technical value to business impact.

Compensation and Benefits

The OTE range for this position is $205,000 - $250,910 USD, determined by candidate qualifications and experience. Compensation packages include comprehensive benefits such as health, life, retirement, PTO, performance-based incentives, and stock options.
