Overview
At NetApp, your ideas power innovation. As a Sales Specialist Intelligent Data Services, you will help drive the adoption of NetApp’s Intelligent Data Infrastructure Insights (DII) and Data Services (DS) portfolio among Mid-Market & Commercial customers. You will work to modernize customer data management with innovative cloud and hybrid solutions.
Job Summary
You will lead the entire sales process from identifying opportunities and engaging decision makers to delivering solution presentations and closing complex deals. This role emphasizes consultative selling, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales growth plan targeting large enterprises.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and deliver accurate revenue forecasts.
- Lead customer meetings, present solutions, and negotiate deals.
- Collaborate with account teams and partners to drive joint selling motions.
- Coordinate across Sales Engineering, Product, Legal, Marketing, and Operations for customer success.
- Provide regular status updates, manage proofs of concept and ROI development.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 7-10 years of enterprise sales experience (Cloud, SaaS, or Data Infrastructure) along with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and a strong understanding of infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and data protection technologies are essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are a must.
Compensation & Benefits
The target salary range is based on On Target Earnings (OTE) with typical range between 275,400 to 356,400 USD. NetApp offers a comprehensive benefits package including Health and Life Insurance, Retirement Plans, PTO, employee stock purchase plans and more, subject to regional variations.
