About the Role
NetApp is seeking a Remote Resident Storage Management Consultant for Cox Automotive to manage and enhance their existing storage infrastructure. This role is part of a "pipeline" team responsible for implementing changes, including tech refreshes, upgrades, configuration changes, and new feature implementations. You will also be fielding ad hoc requests from various storage team members for their active projects, which can range from simple queries to complex troubleshooting, datacenter migrations, or other large projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement changes such as tech refresh, upgrades, configuration changes, and new feature implementations.
- Handle ad hoc requests from storage team members for active projects.
- Perform troubleshooting, datacenter migrations, and other large projects.
- Manage and maintain NetApp ONTAP FAS/AFF/C-series systems.
- Leverage automation via Ansible.
- Utilize NetApp Console, Data Infrastructure Insights (DII), and NetApp Shift toolkit.
- Work with SnapCenter Server for SQL/Oracle backups and SnapCenter Plugin for VMware (SCV) for VM backups.
- Support VMware and future OpenNebula hypervisor environments.
- Manage StorageGRID systems.
- Integrate AIQUM + Harvest (NAbox) for alerting/paging, and transition to ServiceNow for incident creation.
