Position Summary

We are actively seeking an Applications Web Developer Intern to join our team at the North York location for the period of May to August 2026. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, primarily utilizing ASP.NET with C# as the core programming language. This is an existing vacancy offering a significant learning and contribution opportunity.

A Day in the Life of an Applications Web Developer Intern

As an Applications Web Developer Intern, you will be deeply involved in the maintenance and modernization of web applications. Your responsibilities will span the entire application lifecycle, from initial design and architecture through to development and final release.

• Performance Monitoring & Analysis: You will track, analyze, and generate comprehensive reports on the performance of application models and various digital systems. This includes optimizing resource allocation and managing project budgets effectively.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaboration is key; you will work closely with essential internal and external stakeholders, including supply chain teams, product development, packaging specialists, and external vendors. Your goal will be to ensure the successful deployment of application initiatives, aligning them precisely with overall company objectives.

Key qualifications include:

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering program, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with full-stack web-based application technologies.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, C# .NET, JavaScript, and React.
• Familiarity with SQL Server is optional but beneficial.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms, with a specific focus on Azure Cloud, DevOps, and SSO.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• A result-oriented and detail-focused professional with strong analytical skills.
• A fast learner, comfortable thriving within a dynamic and challenging work environment.
• Proficiency with Office365 tools, including SharePoint and Power Platforms.
• Strong adaptability and sound judgment in various situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
