Position Summary

We are seeking a B2C Promotional Activations Marketing Specialist to join Nestlé Nespresso SA in Montreal, reporting to the B2C Promotional Activations Product Manager. This role will support the product management team in developing marketing strategy aligned with brand and company objectives.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will have an excellent opportunity to contribute to business development and sales objectives, focusing on three key areas: B2C promotional plan development, communication plans, and budget management. You will work daily with cross-functional teams, enjoying significant autonomy and coaching to thrive.

B2C Coffee Promotional Plan Development

  • Drive the implementation of the B2C coffee promotional plan with an Omni-channel approach, partnering with all cross-functional teams (E-Commerce, Retail, Brand, CRC, CRM, Supply Chain, Finance, IT…).
  • Conduct analyses of promotional activations, including daily sales tracking, and formulate recommendations to support promotional plan development; from defining promotional mechanics and targeting, to presenting to channels for alignment and sales forecast validation.
  • Contribute to planning and developing gift-with-purchase sales forecasts with recommendations and alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and manage gift-with-purchase inventory to ensure accuracy and provide recommendations on stock depletion activations in collaboration with Supply Chain and channels.

Communication Plan Development

  • Develop and implement integrated, impactful communication plans aligned with brand strategy and business objectives, collaborating closely with channels (E-commerce, Retail) to support sales goals and drive high conversion rates.
  • Proactively provide recommendations to optimize communication and reinforcement plans when necessary to achieve significant commercial impact.
  • Lead the development and implementation of creatives with agencies and channels to ensure consistent campaigns integrated into brand experiences and leverage cross-selling opportunities for a complete 360-degree customer experience (coffee, accessories, machines, etc.).
  • Continuously propose innovative ideas by analyzing market trends and competitive benchmarks from luxury brands to establish best practices and elevate the 360-degree customer experience in line with our brand positioning.

Budget Management

  • Contribute to budget accuracy (purchase order process, product creation, and invoicing follow-ups).

  • Proven strong project management skills: well-structured/organized, time and priority management, multitasking, agility, autonomy, sense of responsibility.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills: excellent oral and written communication; collaborative spirit and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Creativity and brand understanding: in-depth understanding of brand positioning and brand affinity; curiosity with a passion for competitive research and identifying best practices in the luxury sector.
  • Direct-to-consumer communication knowledge: email, push notifications, SMS, POSM, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking: strong analytical skills combined with a holistic 360° business perspective.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment, ability to cope with pressure.

Preferred Skills

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience with proven experience in marketing or a similar role in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or luxury goods.
  • Bilingual French and English (written and spoken).
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
