About The Role
Our technical team is seeking a skilled Go Live Engineer with strong technical and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will be a proficient Cloud Engineer with a demonstrated history of working with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including deployments, troubleshooting, and technical demonstrations. This role will support the Western Time Zones.
What You'll Do
You will be an integral member of our technical team, gaining exposure to the Nerdio platform and collaborating with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Partner Sales Managers (PSM's) to support sales efforts with highly technical Microsoft Channel Partners and MSP's (Managed Service Providers).
- Assist Nerdio partners with their initial account implementations.
- Support fellow Nerdio Support Engineers with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with technical team members to maintain, design, and enhance current tools and processes.
- Contribute to the technical knowledge base and documentation.
- Participate in the development of product enhancements and new features.
- Contribute to creating meaningful metrics for go-lives, partner implementation, and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) goals.
Qualifications
- Prior AVD deployment experience.
- Experience with Intune, FSLogix, and Active Directory (AAD, Azure AD DS, AD DS).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Fast-paced mentality and ability to make quick decisions.
- High sense of urgency and ability to deliver excellent results within short cycle times.
- Comfortable working with highly technical customers.
- Ability to tolerate a high degree of uncertainty and change.
- Experience conducting technical product demos.
Required Experience
- Experience with virtualization technologies, preferably Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Proficiency in Microsoft networking and applications (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Terminal Services).
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with shared storage systems (e.g., SAN, NAS).
- Project management and planning experience.
- High degree of empathy and creativity when working with end-users/partners.
- Competent understanding of networking layers and resources.
Education and Technical Background
- Completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- AZ-104 certification - Microsoft Azure Administrator (preferred).
- AZ-140 certification - Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (preferred).
