Job Overview
Neos Consulting Group is seeking an Investment Data Analyst for a long-term contract role with our client in Austin, TX. This is a hybrid position, and candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin, TX 78701.
Functional Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze program policies and procedures to assess their impact on automated systems.
- Develop ideas focusing on business value, including industry trends, risk assessments, business continuity, and capability requirements.
- Coordinate and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
- Analyze computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Manage the service request life cycle, including customer responses, business requirements coordination, technical specification review, and system integration/user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to complete projects and service requests.
- Identify potential project risks and design mitigation strategies.
- Review complex project deliverables such as design documentation, test plans, and risk assessment plans.
- Lead and coordinate process change requests, managing project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
- Correlate business value and priorities with planning activities and goal-setting.
- Develop training curriculum and conduct formal system training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in management information systems or business administration.
- 4 years of experience in planning, eliciting, analyzing, and managing business requirements throughout the SDLC, including regression testing.
- Validate requirements with Front Office, Middle Office, and Regulatory stakeholders.
- 4 years of experience leading business process reengineering and transformation efforts.
- 4 years of experience as a business relationship manager (liaison) between functional and technical teams.
- 4 years of experience leading project teams and managing organizational efforts involving change management, stakeholder relationships, performance tracking, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and task delegation.
- Considerable knowledge of public and private markets, investment concepts, and terminology.
- 4 years of experience with investment transactions related to credit & hedge funds, private equity, infrastructure, private real estate, public real estate, and public equity.
- 4 years of experience working with Operations teams, Trading desks, Investment teams, Software vendors, and internal development teams.
- 4 years of experience analyzing and evaluating complex investment information, technology applications, policies, and issues.
- 4 years of experience developing and conducting training sessions for new and enhanced systems.
- 4 years of experience in a scrum master role or agile scrum environment.
- 4 years of experience with projects addressing data management, data quality, data warehousing, data modeling, data migration, integration, secure file transfers, enterprise system analysis, enterprise architecture, and information security principles.
- 4 years of experience with investments management systems implementations and enhancements (e.g., Eagle Investment Accounting, Bloomberg financial data and transfer).
