Position Summary

The Electrical Engineer II at Neocoil LLC provides electrical engineering expertise in driving product designs across all phases of the product life cycle. The role acts as a core contributor in teams’ efforts to product design, verification, validation, productization, and documentation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop products including RF architecture, PCBAs, and interconnects in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Establish, maintain, and communicate development timelines supporting project schedules.
  • Work with internal and external customers ensuring designs meet manufacturability, service, and customer requirements.
  • Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement activities for both new and mature products.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding processes, capabilities, requirements, and troubleshooting.
  • Execute core responsibilities in accordance with established competencies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience; medical device manufacturing experience and electro-magnetic field theory knowledge preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and specific business software (ERP, eQMS, CAD); familiarity with SPICE, Matlab, HFSS preferred.
  • Experience with lab tools such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope is required.
  • Hands-on experience with MR scanner or NMR spectrometer is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires manual dexterity including typing, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities such as close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are needed. The work environment typically has minimal noise.
