Job Description

To support the group's growth, we are looking to strengthen our team of automation design engineers. Becoming a consultant at NEO2 means:

By joining our teams as an Automation Design Engineer, you will be involved in a first mission with one of our clients specializing in natural gas. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Main Missions

Technical Management & Coordination

• Represent the Automation activity within projects.
• Manage risks (technical, planning, costs) and multi-disciplinary interfaces.
• Manage suppliers and contract holders.
• Ensure the follow-up of deliverables, factory and site acceptances.

Engineering Studies & AMOA/AMOE

• Conduct or supervise studies: feasibility, APS/APD, detailed studies.
• Define needs, functional analyses, draft consultation documents.
• Cost estimations, technical alignments, unavailability estimations.
• Follow-up of several contracts (audits, works…).

Installation Monitoring

• Technical validation of automation equipment and control-command systems.

Candidate Profile

Required Technical Skills

• Industrial automation: control-command architectures, functional analyses.
• Proficiency with PLCs: Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens.
• Experience in gas/oil engineering or complex industrial processes (min. 8 years).
• Confirmed experience in AMOA/AMOE in gas transport, storage, or LNG terminals.
• Appreciated skills: instrumentation, telecom/transmission.

Soft Skills

• Autonomy, proactivity, rigor, analytical skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Simultaneous management of multiple projects.
• Teamwork and multi-stakeholder coordination.

Languages

• Fluent English required.

Mobility

• Position based in an office environment.
• Regular travel to industrial sites and suppliers (France + international).
