Job Summary
NEMO LIGHTING, a leading Italian company in decorative lighting, is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer for its office in Sovico. Reporting directly to general management, this role will be a key part of the Research & Development department, taking primary responsibility for new product development and technical coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, lead, and manage the design and development of new decorative collections and special products, coordinating with other company functions.
- Translate design concepts and briefs into industrializable solutions.
- Manage the entire technical product cycle: functional study, 3D modeling, material selection, and production processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and technical partners to ensure quality, feasibility, and timely execution.
- Actively contribute to process improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- Technical degree or diploma in mechanical/industrial engineering or equivalent.
- Consolidated experience as a Product Design Engineer (preferably in the lighting sector or design products).
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and main 3D CAD software.
- Graphic design skills and excellent ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of main topics related to control systems and electronics applied to lighting.
Completing the Profile
Excellent relational skills, organizational capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and a team-work and collaboration attitude.
