Service Center Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a Service Center Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team as a liaison between stores and the finance function. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong customer service skills, understand Excel and NetSuite, and have a background in multi-location retail sales, daily deposits, and invoice review.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between accounting and assigned stores.
  • Coach store personnel on new procedures as needed.
  • Review and post daily deposit transactions in NetSuite ensuring POS amounts reconcile with payments.
  • Validate vendor invoices including vendor name, invoice details, and GL expense coding.
  • Ensure correct documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies and work with store managers to rectify errors.

Requirements

  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in retail or auto service environments.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems and NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve bookkeeping-related issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to support financial accuracy with retail store managers.
