Job Description
Co-Founder CTO at NeedTech Labs
NeedTech Labs is an initial stage, pre-funding startup building a cutting-edge serverless, event-driven platform. This platform is designed to automate quarantine, blue/green failover, and idempotent recovery, significantly minimizing cloud outage and security-incident blast radius. This is an equity-only position until funding, available exclusively for US citizens.
What you’ll build (0→1)
- Architect the event-driven serverless orchestration layer from the ground up.
- Design multi-plane quarantine encompassing network, routing, service mesh, and identity/IAM.
- Automate blue/green and canary cutover along with clean-environment provisioning.
- Implement idempotent remediation and state rehydration, utilizing patterns like DynamoDB/CosmosDB.
- Set up robust CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with baked-in SOC 2 / ISO 27001-ready controls.
- Own the 12-month MVP roadmap and guide early technical hiring and Intellectual Property (IP) direction.
You’re a fit if you have
- 10+ years of experience building cloud-native SaaS solutions, demonstrating both startup speed and production rigor.
- Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with strong command of control-plane APIs.
- A robust background in serverless architectures, security automation, and resilience engineering.
- Proven zero-to-one leadership capabilities as a hands-on builder and innovator.
