Job Details
Position: Senior Software Engineer/Lead (Python, React, GCP)
Shift Timing: US Shift - Till 1.30 am
Reporting Structure: Project Lead / PM, Mumbai
Experience Required: 9+ years in software engineering (full-stack emphasis)
Technical Skills & Responsibilities
- Proficient in Python and React
- Familiarity with GCP and Kubernetes
- Solid server-side and client-side (CSS/HTML/JS) expertise
- Experience with continuous delivery and data-informed development
- Ability to write efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Soft Skills & Additional Requirements
- Self-directed with minimal supervision
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Willingness to learn new techniques quickly
Responsibilities
- Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews
- Contribute to platform architecture and overall design
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Write unit and integration tests to safeguard code quality
- Provide production support and troubleshoot when needed
Desired Expertise
- Familiarity with BigQuery and modern data pipeline technologies
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Exposure to machine learning pipelines
Overall Role
This role is part of the Customer Projects Development Team, requiring a solid foundation in secure coding practices and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed. Candidates must be capable of tackling challenges with minimal support and a clear, thoughtful approach.
