Role Overview: IT Project Manager
This role sits at the intersection of technology, process, and people. As an IT Project Manager, you will lead and deliver cross-functional IT projects that enhance and scale our enterprise applications. Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Infrastructure to translate business needs into technical tasks and ensure secure, efficient, and well-integrated systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple IT and system integration projects from planning to rollout.
- Collaborate with Python developers and technical teams to define, prioritize, and track tasks.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical workstreams and documentation.
- Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, and dashboards for progress tracking.
- Apply Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices to drive sprint planning and continuous improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders to optimize enterprise tools including HRIS, travel, expense, and finance platforms.
- Ensure secure system configurations that meet audit and compliance standards.
- Coordinate system cleanups, workflow automation, and process improvements.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams to align priorities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by balancing strategic needs with technical feasibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing IT or enterprise application projects.
- Strong Jira expertise including setup, workflows, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with HR, finance, or travel systems is a plus.
- Experience collaborating with software developers (Python knowledge is a plus).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to make informed trade-offs and prioritize effectively.
- Awareness of data privacy, audit, and security standards.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
