Overview
NCS Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 4–6 years of expertise to manage end-to-end release and deployment lifecycles in enterprise environments. This role is crucial for ensuring reliable and automated deployments across UAT and production.
Technical Expertise & CI/CD
You will be skilled in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and YAML. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code is essential, utilizing Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep for provisioning and managing Azure cloud resources including App Services, SQL Database, PostgreSQL, AKS, and Key Vault.
Process & Collaboration
Strong experience in release orchestration, change management, and coordinating with cross-functional teams is required. This includes collaboration with Development, QA, Application Support, Product Owners, and Cloud Administrators. You will be adept at presenting technical change requests to CAB, managing deployment risks, and ensuring compliance with ITIL and ISO 27001 standards.
Automation & Improvement
The ideal candidate will be skilled in scripting with PowerShell and Python to automate processes, improve pipeline efficiency, and reduce manual effort. A focus on improving release velocity, system reliability, and operational stability through DevOps best practices and continuous process improvement is key.
