About the Role
nbn® Australia is offering a unique opportunity for a Software Developer to contribute to building Australia’s future by developing and operating software-based test automation for complex network platforms and services. Reporting to the Network Test Automation Manager, you will design, build, and enhance automation frameworks and regression capabilities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and confidence in large-scale network environments. This role also involves contributing to the evolution of AI-assisted test automation for smarter test setup, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with test managers, delivery teams, and INES to deliver scalable, dependable, and future-ready network testing solutions, with a focus on NBN network technologies like FTTP, HFC, and Aggregation.
About You
The ideal candidate is a skilled Software Developer passionate about creating reliable test automation within complex environments. You should be proficient in Python, automation frameworks, databases, and CI/CD, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively across software and network teams. We are looking for individuals with curiosity, adaptability, and thoughtful problem-solving skills, particularly those interested in modern automation practices like AI-assisted testing. Experience with network technologies, especially Nokia products, is highly valued. Excellent communication, knowledge-sharing, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
