Role Overview

The Manager, Content Acquisition supports the UTEG Acquisitions team licensing content for NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock and linear networks such as NBC and Bravo. The role focuses on identifying content opportunities, negotiating agreements, optimizing portfolio performance, and managing key relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage content analyses and negotiation processes.
  • Prepare offer templates and financial documents for content packages.
  • Collaborate with Programming, Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Legal, and Content Operations.
  • Partner with Decision Sciences for content planning and reporting.
  • Evaluate content performance and provide feedback for future acquisitions.
  • Screen series and films and prepare presentation materials for senior executives.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in acquisitions, content strategy, programming or financial analysis at a major media company is required. Exceptional proficiency in Excel, strong PowerPoint skills, and database management capabilities are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with a passion for television and film.

Additional Information

This role is hybrid with a requirement to work from the office at least three days per week now and four days per week beginning January 5, 2026. Eligible for company-sponsored benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, etc.). In-person interviews may be required as part of the selection process.
