Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, Content Accounting - TV Networks is responsible for the controllership activities for licensed and acquired TV Networks programming and production costs. The role ensures all transactions comply with company policies, GAAP and SOX controls, while contributing to monthly/quarterly closings and financial statement reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee transaction recording and documentation in line with policies.
• Participate in closing processes and perform financial statement reviews.
• Review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage controllership processes including amortization curves and impairment analysis.
• Support internal controls and SOX compliance, and assist in external/internal audits.
• Collaborate with teams and IT on reporting system enhancements.
• Mentor and develop staff within the controllership team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 8+ years of relevant experience is required. CPA certification is mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of general accounting practices and financial accounting standards.

Additional Details

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in office.
