Job Description
The Content Accounting Manager, TV Networks is responsible for key operational controllership processes related to participations and residuals. This includes production of participant statements, ensuring timely processing of payments, and managing audit processes while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and statutory controls.
- Review monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure transactions are accurately recorded per GAAP and SOX.
- Participate in monthly/quarterly closings and financial statement reviews.
- Oversee internal controls and support external/internal audits.
- Mentor staff and collaborate on reporting system enhancements.
This role is a key member of the TV Networks controllership team collaborating with operational finance, legal, and IT teams to improve controls and reporting.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience are required. A strong knowledge of accounting practices and financial standards is essential.
Additional Information
This is a hybrid position requiring presence in the office three days per week and is eligible for comprehensive company benefits. The role is positioned for transition to the upcoming Versant company structure.
