Job Description
The Universal Television Entertainment Group (UTEG) is seeking a brand strategist to join our Marketing Strategy team. In the role of Manager, Marketing Strategy, you will work closely with the Vice President, Marketing Strategy to advance the evolution of the Peacock brand and extend it across campaigns, content, and culture. You will articulate the brand’s vision and strategic guardrails, translating them into actionable directives for creative development and cross-functional collaboration.
You will also support marketing strategies for priority titles under the Bravo brand, crafting messaging and positioning briefs for franchises like The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, and Below Deck. Leveraging data and insights, you will help marketing teams understand key value propositions, cultural contexts, and growth opportunities within original unscripted programming.
The Person
You are a brand thinker who melds strategy with storytelling. Comfortable in both brainstorming sessions and boardroom discussions, you excel at distilling insights, aligning stakeholders, and crafting strategic narratives. You are proactive, collaborative, and able to navigate ambiguity with a positive, respectful approach.
Responsibilities
- Support the evolution of Peacock’s streaming brand strategy with a new narrative and tone.
- Leverage data, insights, and analysis to develop title marketing strategies for Bravo franchises.
- Craft strategic briefs connecting marketing efforts with metrics like subscriber growth and viewership.
- Collaborate with Decision Sciences and Content Analytics to track campaign performance.
- Ensure creative concepts and campaign assets align with brand strategy and positioning.
- Track perception vitals and conduct brand health assessments for strategic recommendations.
- Represent Peacock’s brand strategy across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of consumer and/or entertainment marketing strategy experience. Proficiency in visual storytelling, writing, presentations, and data synthesis is required. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
Additional Information
This is a hybrid position with a minimum on-site requirement of three days per week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and additional perks. Salary range is $85,000 to $105,000, bonus eligible. External candidates might be required to attend an in-person interview.
