Department Overview

Our team is passionate about understanding what matters to people by creating an ecosystem for better physical, social, and emotional health. The Care Solutions, Analytics, Implementations, Clinical and Business Operations, and Learning and Development teams work together with clients and stakeholders to meet everyday healthcare needs.

Role: Director, Accounting

As the Director of Accounting, you will lead the accounting staff across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will work closely with the Controller on month-end tasks and special projects, lead inter-entity entries between Navvis and other Surround Care entities, and provide accurate financial reporting.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Controller and CFO.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting packages.
• Lead annual audit preparations and tax filings with external auditors.
• Supervise cash management activities and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

You will also collaborate with internal teams, including HR, to align financial systems and reporting with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership roles.
• Experience in healthcare or similarly regulated industries is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and financial databases.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
