Financial Service Officer at Navigator Credit Union
Navigator Credit Union is currently recruiting for a part time Financial Service Officer in the MS region. Branches include Gulfport, D'iberville, Ocean Springs, Gautier, Jackson Ave, Hurley, Vancleave, and Moss Point. While a specific home branch will be assigned, you may be required to cover at other branches within the region.
Role & Responsibilities
This role serves as a Financial Advisor responsible for providing financial solutions. Responsibilities include opening new accounts, referring applications, answering member questions, problem solving, and owning the member experience. You will have consultative conversations with members to offer Credit Union products and services that may save them time and money.
- Build relationships with members across multiple channels.
- Assist members with transactions and complex financial needs.
- Promote and explain the products including mobile banking.
- Perform administrative duties and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in special projects and additional branch tasks.
Experience & Education
Requires 2+ years direct customer service experience; sales experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Specific Skills
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to successfully complete financial counselor certification within 6 months.
- Strong problem solving and consultative sales skills.
- Self-motivated, trustworthy, and a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Additional Information
