Summary

You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Operations Division of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii. You will support the N4 Facilities Directorate on construction projects to decommission the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility. A COLA of 8.64% is added to the stated salary.

Duties

You will provide engineering support in construction contracts between the Navy/Marine Corps and private contractors. Responsibilities include evaluating quality control, coordinating the construction quality management program, arranging pre-final and final acceptance inspections and supporting contract specialists with administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level. Experience should include coordinating construction quality management programs, resolving field issues, and assisting with the delivery, storage, and use of equipment. Detailed qualification standards can be found via the Office of Personnel Management.
