Quality Assurance Technician

Shift Available: 2nd @ 2pm - 10:30pm

Pay: Starting at $24 per hour with overtime and other incentives

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you are an essential team member responsible for monitoring all quality assurance and food safety activities, carrying out corrections to improve quality functions. You will test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile statistical data to maintain product reliability.

What will you get to do?

• Provide support to the Quality Assurance Management team.
• Achieve quality assurance operational objectives.
• Perform tests at specified stages in the production process.
• Test products for temperature, defects, code dates, etc.
• Record and review test results for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate data and write reports to indicate deviations from standards.
• Recommend improvements to quality or production standards.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Analyze incoming dry goods and verify specifications.
• Document key metrics, maintain calibration logs and laboratory instruments.
• Collect retention samples and conduct general analysis on production samples.

Experience that will help you succeed

• Basic understanding of quality assurance standards and protocols.
• Experience in food safety and documentation.
• Previous similar role experience with various types of testing.
• Familiarity with the 4 points of QA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Food/Beverage manufacturing experience is a plus.
