Performance Analyst at Natixis Investment Managers

The Investment Performance Analyst (IPA) is responsible for producing and delivering performance returns on our Unified Managed Account (UMA) platform accounts. The role involves working with our service provider Vestmark to ensure that returns are calculated and distributed timely and accurately, while adhering to GIPS Compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate performance output in a timely fashion.
  • Confirm compliance with regulatory requirements for performance and client reporting.
  • Adhere to GIPS Compliance standards and coordinate efforts with external consultants.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Trading, and Portfolio Management teams for data distribution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Validate and maintain performance data on Vestmark ensuring data integrity.
  • Participate in systems upgrades, conversions, and related testing events.
  • Develop, maintain, and document procedures.
  • Represent Performance in legal contracts, due diligence, RFPs, audits, and compliance reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum two years of financial services or asset management operations experience.
  • Experience in performance measurement, data management, and investment operations.
  • Knowledge of GIPS Compliance standards and UMA platform managed accounts.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong technology proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with portfolio accounting systems (Vestmark), FactSet, Bloomberg, or business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • CIPM candidacy/designation preferred.

Work Environment and Benefits

The position is based in San Francisco, CA and requires a hybrid work arrangement (minimum two days in office, preferably Tuesday and Wednesday) with approximate hours from 5:30am PT to 2:30pm PT.
