Position Description

NAYA Family Center is seeking a Data Quality and Reporting Specialist to ensure accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and follow-up for housing and homelessness services. This role supports programmatic decision-making, fulfills contractual and funder requirements, and strengthens NAYA’s ability to deliver wraparound services to the community.

The specialist will enter participant data, ensure data quality, support reporting needs, and occasionally interact with participants during intake or follow-up. This role is critical in upholding data integrity while supporting the mission of serving Native youth, families, and elders.

Working Hours & Flexibility: Full-time position, 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch, with occasional evening/weekend work. Once trained, there is flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week with supervisor approval.

Who You Are

  • Experience with diverse populations, particularly Native American communities.
  • Accurate data entry and familiarity with databases and reporting.
  • Practitioner of trauma-informed care and non-violent communication.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
  • Organized, reliable, and excellent in communication.
  • Comfortable with MS Excel, Outlook, and common tools.

What You'll Do

  • Enter participant data into program databases and case management systems.
  • Create and maintain confidential participant profiles.
  • Track follow-ups, recertifications, and run program reports.
  • Support team data quality at khwat yaka haws (Auntie’s Place) and onboard new members.
  • Maintain data security and confidentiality across systems.
  • Occasionally interact with participants via phone or email.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Evaluation Team and program leadership.
  • Represent NAYA in meetings, trainings, and community settings.
