Overview
Nationwide is looking for a dedicated Claims Adjuster III Field Property Claims professional who is passionate about helping people protect what matters most. This role supports the Field Property Claims Team with flexibility and extensive travel demands up to 75% depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all assigned claims promptly and effectively, including complex losses.
- Determine proper policy coverages and apply standard methodologies.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced claims associates.
- Conduct follow-ups using claims and other related business systems.
- Act for the Claims Manager when required and assist in CAT duty.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in insurance field/property claims handling, proficiency with Xactimate, excellent customer service skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities. Must be physically capable to inspect properties including climbing ladders and rooftops.
