About the Role

The Communications Delivery Specialist role at Nationwide Building Society is part of a dedicated team responsible for writing, designing, and producing millions of essential Legal, Regulatory and Mandatory communications each year. This role is designed to ensure our customer communications are clear, compliant, and impactful.

What You Will Do

You will collaborate with product and process owners to drive customer communications that meet high quality and compliance standards:

  • Create tailored communications across paper, digital, SMS, push and video channels.
  • Transform complex data into clear, customer-friendly messages.
  • Develop detailed briefing documentation for technical teams.
  • Implement robust quality assurance processes during build, test, and approval phases.
  • Contribute to a project aimed at uplifting current communications to new standards, transitioning into day-to-day operations post-2026.

About You

You bring a blend of technical and interpersonal skills, a passion for clarity, and a focus on customer experience. Key attributes include:

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and feedback negotiation.
  • An understanding of data-driven communications.
  • A calm and proactive approach in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with modern communications techniques and tools (e.g., OpenText, Quadient, Adobe Workfront) is a plus.

Working Arrangements

Nationwide Building Society offers hybrid working solutions with required presence at the Swindon or Bournemouth office for 2 days a week (or 40% if part time). Flexibility is encouraged to support optimal performance.
