Overview
The Research Assistant Generative AI for Blockchain Designs position at National University of Singapore is part of a cutting-edge project exploring the use of large language models to design meaningful blockchain consensus mechanisms and their applications in supply chain finance. This project is supported by DTC Singapore and executed by Asst. Prof. Qin Hanzhang and his team at NUS ISEM/AI Institute.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Financial Engineering or a related discipline. A background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) is essential, with familiarity of transformer architectures such as BERT, GPT, or T5, and experience in fine tuning and training these models on large datasets. Proficiency in blockchain and cryptocurrency is required, with skills in writing smart contracts. Strong programming skills in languages like Python and Solidity and expertise with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and Scikit-learn are highly desired.
